Little Toy stealer

I am having problem uploading pictures, so in the meantime here is a video of our littest Thief! Doesn't matter what she has he wants it, and leaves her crying...it is pretty funny...for now at least! I'm sure a few more years of this it won't be so funny anymore!

Finally...

...After a week of a cranky little girl, Miss Leah FINALLY has a tooth poking through! Its been a long week of sleepless nights and cranky days...She cried so hard a few times she threw up...Granted she was sick along with that pesky tooth...

More to come tomorrow (or so), its been a tiring week!

A moment...

During October, we remember all babies born sleeping. Those who were carried but never met, those who were held but not taken home, or the ones that came home, but didn't stay. Make this your status if you or someone you know has suffered the loss of a baby. In memory of ALL lost angels. Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

October 15 is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day, please take a minute to remember today....

Happy Thanksgiving!

 Happy Thanksgiving!!!
We had a wonderful long weekend, and I am more thankful this year than ever!! My husband, my 3 kids, our families and friends...Its been a great year!!!

We spent Saturday on a "Punknick" Hunt...
For some reason Alyssa can't say Pumpkin, it always comes out as Punknick
We went to Butterfield Acres and the weather was gorgeous!
Everyone was happy to be out in the sunshine...

There was lots of cute baby animals to play with, Alyssa loved this little goat...
I thought this Donkey was awfully cute!
The babies were pretty interested in all these little Punknicks...

We took a wagon to a field where they had all the little punknicks hidden...
Leah sat nicely in her carrier all day, hiding her face from the sun...
Blake squirmed around all day and wanted down..
Alyssa heading out to find her perfect punknick...
Found it!!

She was so proud of her find!
We then went and decorated it, and she meticulously decorated it for about 1/2 hour...
"Patti the Punknick"..Isn't she gorgeous mom? haha
Having a little break for the decorating...
Hmmm leaves...yummy!

Vent of the day...

Vent of the day...I just took the 3 kids grocery shopping...Why oh why is there only ONE spot for a kid to sit!?!? Not only the fact that I have 2 infants to put in the cart, but there are plenty of people with 2 close in age...So who the heck invented shopping carts with one spot?? Even Toys R Us's cart only have 1 spot???

Ahhh Bliss...

Mountains, Castles, Massages, Mineral pools, and sleep!! What else could a girl ask for!! Oh right, the worlds best husband!!!

Friday was my birthday, and we used that as an excuse to have a mini getaway...Since we have the beautiful mountains right in our backyard we decided to treat ourselves to a Romantic night away at the Banff Springs Hotel and boy oh boy did we have a great time!!

Friday, my thoughtful husband decided to take the day off of work so he could spend the day with us...he knows my favorite thing in the world is to hang out as a family...My brother, Sophie and Gabe stopped by with flowers and chocolate and a little visit...Then we went to go see our sweet little nephew Marko, who shares the same birthday as me...
Hard to believe he is already 8!!!
On our way home we stopped in for a quick visit at mom and dads house...mom had this delicious cake waiting for me when I got home...
Kirks parent arrived later that night, we went over the kid instructions and Saturday morning we left at 9am to our Mountain Oasis...
We stayed at the world famous Banff Springs Hotel...
Ohmygosh, this place is unreal...Built in 1888 this "Castle" like hotel is just oozing with character and old fashioned charm...
We started the day in their exclusive Spa for massages, then headed into the mineral pools and outdoor hot tub and melted into complete mush while enjoying the breath taking fall scenery surrounded by the Rockies...
We stayed on the "Gold Floor" which was recently renovated, and had a lovely Private lounge with all sorts of snacks, yummy food and all the drinks you wanted...
This was the view from our room, over looking the Bow River...
It was plus 25 outside, we ate lunch on the terrace basking in the warm sun and enjoying some fresh mountain air...
We napped, we ate, we laughed, we lounged in the hot tubs, steam rooms, and marvelled at the scenery and the amazing architecture of this old beautiful hotel...
We went into town for dinner, and laughed at how old I was acting by wanting to go to bed at 11pm...
I'm not sure why I look so gigantic in this picture...lets go with a bad angle?!!?
We missed the kids like crazy,
and our several phone calls kept reassuring us that they were just fine without us!!
Thank you my love for an amazing time...
...it was just perfect!
