Our story started in 1999, it was love at first sight and we have been inseperable ever since. After a 4 year struggle with Infertilty we welcomed our first daughter Alyssa. 2 more years of IF we had Twins Blake & Leah, born 10 weeks premature. After 7 weeks in the NICU we brought our tiny babies home. This is our life...

Daddy holds Babies!!!
Finally for the first time since Thursday, Kirk got to go see the babies AND hold them! He was so excited and they both happened to be awake when he was holding them. Kirk loved every minute of it and so did the babies...
Health wise both babies are still doing well. Both of their IV's have come out, Blake is only on air flow, he's not given extra oxygen just air flow to remind him to keep breathing. He only had 1 brady overnight so thats good. Hopefully if those slow down they'll take his air flow out of his nose. Both are getting a little more food every day and Leah is being given Human milk fortifier which is just some extra calories and proteins etc. Blake will get that as soon as he catches up to the amount of Leah is getting, which is pretty close now.
Argh, these pictures always seem to come out reverse of how I want them too...I wanted the picture of Kirk with babies at the top, sorry!

One of those moments
There are moments in all of our lives that stand out from the rest. There are memories we have with our families and with our friends, or life experiences that always stand out in our minds...Then there are THE moments that can't be topped...
My top 3 life changing moments are Marrying my Prince charming, the birth of our first miracle Alyssa, and today when the nurse handed me my 2 tiny newborn twins at the same time...Tears streamed down my face with such joy I can't even describe it, typing and thinking about it makes me tear up again... These tiny tiny little miracles so perfect and precious I really felt like the luckiest girl in the whole world to be given not 1 little blessing but 2 at the same time. I sat there and held them for 2 hours in pure amazement at these little beings, my heart literally overflowing with more love than I could ever imagine...3 perfect children and the most amazing husband, not to mention wondeful family and friends who are always by our side...I'm telling you Luckiest girl in the world!! I only wish Kirk would have been there to share it with me...Hopefully tomorrow he can go see them...Oh I must add in as silly as it may seem, getting our little dog Oscar was a pretty happy moment in my life too, but certainly not top 3 worthy, close but not quite ;)
Blake on the left Leah on the right...I have only seen Blake with his eyes open a handful of times. Leah on the other hand is always awake.
